I really want to like your podcast, but….
A couple of observations. No offence intended here. I really want Canadian content to succeed.
Microphone quality is very inconsistent among the group. I found myself constantly adjusting the volume to try and hear what some of the hosts were saying. One gentleman in particular was very clear and did the majority of the talking. I struggled with the rest of the voices.
Poor Liz. The lone female voice and the men can’t help but interrupt her EVERY time she speaks.
And lastly I waited patiently for the main subject but at about 19 minute mark I gave up. Perhaps start strong with the subject line, in this case the OIC, and save the “in jokes” and other content new listeners can’t follow easily for the end.

Just finished listening to the Honk Everywhere episode. I have an anecdote re. CAF recruiting.
An acquaintance of mine is a Captain in the Canadian Army, and is charged with heading one of the recruiting programs. One of the things that they have been tasked with is hiring more "visible minorities and immigrants". From his own admission, these people are coming to this country, and are usually fleeing an oppressive regime, or a war or similar situation. They have come to Canada for a better life, and the LAST thing they want is to have their children enroll in the military.
Combined with the leftist popular views, it is no wonder there are recruiting issues!!
